1965 Michigan State v. Minnesota basketball program

At this Feb. 6, 1965 game, the host Spartans lost to Minnesota, 88-79.

MSU's starting lineup, coached by Forddy Anderson, included Bob Miller, Mark Vander Jagt, Bill Curtis, Stan Washington and Marcus Sanders.

Minnesota's starting lineup, coached by John Kundla, included Lou Hudson, Archie Clark, Mel Northway, Don Yates and Dennis Dvoracek. The Gophers finished with a 19-5 record and finished second in the Big Ten.
