1958 Michigan State v. Nebraska basketball program

At this Dec. 20, 1958 game, the host eleventh-ranked Spartans defeated Nebraska, 80-55.

MSU's starting lineup, coached by Forddy Anderson, included Johnny Green, Horace Walker, Bob Anderegg, Lance Olson and Tom Rand. The Spartans went on to win the Big Ten title and play in the NCAA tournament.

Nebraska's starting lineup, coached by Jerry Bush, included Albert Maxey, Jim Kowalke, Bob Harry, Herschell Turner and Wayne Hester.
