1956 Michigan State-Michigan basketball program

At this Feb. 6, 1956 game, the host Spartans beat the arch-rival Michigan Wolverines with superstar Ron Kramer, 86-76.

MSU's starting lineup, coached by Forddy Anderson, included Julius "Hooks" McCoy, George Ferguson, Duane Peterson, Walt Godfrey and Pat Wilson.

Michigan's starting lineup, coached by Bill Perigo, included Kramer, Jerry Stern, Pete Tillotson, Billy Wright and Tom Jorgensen.
