1952 Michigan State v. Minnesota basketball program
At this Feb. 18, 1952 game, the host Spartans lost to Minnesota, 60-58.
MSU's starting lineup, coached by Pete Newell, included Bill Bower, Keith Stackhouse, Bob Carey, Sonny Means and Gordon Stauffer.
Minnesota's starting lineup, coached by Ozzie Cowles, included Dick Means, Bob Gelle, Ed Kalafat, Chuck Mencel and Jerry Mitchell. The Gophers finished the season with a 15-7 record.
