The Sporting News - June 5, 1941. Pages include 1-2-13-14 (measures 17" x 24"). The newspaper is in poor condition (hole in middle of front page, but it does not affect the Gehrig obit).

This lot ALSO includes a set of four 25-cent Lou Gehrig baseball stamps, issued by the U.S. Postal Service in 1989. The stamp commemorated the 50th anniversary of Gehrig's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame and his retirement
