1990 University of Illinois Centennial Football Poster (original)

This is a nearly MINT CONDITION, ORIGINAL (paper) POSTER for the University of Illinois football team's 1990 season. This was the centennial season (100 years) of Fighting Illini football.

Among the Illini legends portrayed on the poster are Hall of Famers Red Grange, George Halas and Dick Butkus. Other significant stars include Coach Bob Zuppke, Coach Ray Eliot, Dike Eddleman, Buddy Young, Bobby Mitchell, J.C. Caroline, Scott Studwell, Tony Eason, Jack Trudeau and Jeff George.

Illinois's Big Ten co-champions collected a non-conference victory against the eventual national champs (Colorado), Howard Griffith's record-setting eight-touchdown game (SIU), and a third consecutive victory against Ohio State.

It's an absolutely MUST-HAVE item to include in any Illini man cave.
The poster measures 26" x 20".
