1983-84 University of Illinois Basketball Poster (original)

Lou Henson's 1983-84 team was his only Big Ten championship squad. It finished 15-3 in the Big Ten (26-5 overall) and sixth in the AP rankings. The starting lineup included Efrem Winters, Doug Altenberger, George Montgomery, Bruce Douglas and Quinn Richardson.

A 54-51 loss in the Regional Finals to Kentucky kept it from a berth in the Final Four.
