NOTE: This was purchased by me in the early 1970s.

GEORGE SISLER (Mar. 24, 1893 – Mar. 26, 1973), a 1939 Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, played for the St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators and Boston Braves. A University of Michigan baseball star, he won the American League batting titles in 1920 (.407) and 1922 (A.L. MVP). His career batting average of .340 is the 16th highest of all time.

Excellent condition! (estimated that this was signed by Sisler in the '70s)
