Hank Greenberg autographed Sporting News clipping (4 x 6.25")
This is NOT personalized - just Hank Greenberg's signature
Hank Greenberg(born January 1, 1911 – died September 4, 1986) played for the Detroit Tigers in the 1930s and 1940s. A member of Baseball's Hall of Fame and a two-time American League MVP, he was one of the premier power hitters of his generation. He had a batting average over .300 in eight seasons, and won two World Series championships with the Tigers (1935 and '45). He was the AL home run leader four times and his 58 home runs for the Tigers in 1938 equaled Jimmie Foxx's 1932 mark for the most in one season by anyone other than Babe Ruth.

AUTHENTICATION - About 50 years ago, when I first began collecting sports memorabilia, I discovered Jack Smalling's very first baseball autograph collectors handbook (the original was mimeographed--I still have it). Nearly every day, as a high school teenager, I would check off five-to-ten names on my list. I'd write each player (mostly retired players) a brief customized letter, enclose five 3x5 index cards or sometimes a Sporting News clipping, and also--most importantly--a self-addressed stamped envelope (stamps were a nickel in those days). Nearly every day, I would receive four or five prizes in the mailbox, sometimes with five signed cards, sometimes with just one. One out of twenty would even enclose a HOF Plaque card or a small autographed photo. The item you're considering here was one of those items. Over the years, I've sold a bunch via EBAY (I have a perfect feedback record: https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=coolstuffsports
and a bunch to sports memorabilia shops. If YOU aren't 100 percent satisfied, just return my item and I'll refund your money.
